Role Description
The VFX Generalist will work full time and remotely on a project basis from July 25th to August 8th, collaborating with the production and post-production teams to create high-quality visual effects. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and implementing VFX shots, compositing elements, integrating 3D assets, and enhancing footage with special effects that align with the project’s creative direction. The role involves close coordination with editors, colorists, and sound designers to ensure visual consistency and smooth workflows. The VFX Generalist will also troubleshoot technical issues, optimize assets for performance, and maintain organized project files and documentation. Clear communication, timely delivery of assigned tasks, and adherence to project timelines are essential.

Qualifications
- Robust VFX and compositing skills using industry-standard software (e.g., After Effects, Nuke, Fusion), with the ability to create, integrate, and refine complex visual elements.
- Experience with 3D tools (e.g.,



Blender, Maya, Cinema 4D) for modeling, animation, lighting, and rendering to support VFX shots.
- Solid understanding of video production and post-production workflows, including editing, color grading, and file management.
- Knowledge of motion graphics and digital design principles to enhance visual storytelling and branding elements.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and adjust work based on feedback.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and capacity to work efficiently under tight deadlines in a remote environment.
- Reliable internet connection, familiarity with remote collaboration tools, and disciplined time management.
- Prior experience in media, film, or advertising projects; a portfolio or showreel demonstrating VFX and 3D work is highly beneficial.
