Employment Type: Full time | Permanent Location: Kesurdi, Khandala, Dist. Satara, Maharashtra

Job Purpose

To manage day-to-day procurement operations of the plant — covering material ordering, purchase order issuance, inventory coordination, and procurement reporting — ensuring uninterrupted material availability for production at optimum cost and inventory levels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Ordering & Procurement
- Process purchase requisitions (PRs) from Production, PPC, Maintenance, Quality, and other departments.
- Plan and place orders for raw materials, castings, forgings, steel parts, consumables, tools, and indirect materials based on production schedules and MRP.
- Float enquiries/RFQs, obtain and compare quotations, and negotiate price, payment terms,



and delivery schedules with suppliers.
- Ensure procurement at the right price, right quality, right quantity, and right time.

2. Purchase Order (PO) Issuance & Administration
- Prepare, verify, and release Purchase Orders in ERP with accurate specifications, rates, taxes (GST), delivery terms, and payment conditions.
- Obtain internal approvals as per the company's authorization matrix before PO release.
- Issue PO amendments for changes in quantity, rate, or delivery schedule, with proper documentation.
- Maintain complete PO records — open PO tracking, order confirmations, and closure of completed POs.

3. Delivery Follow-up & Coordination
- Track order status and follow up with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery as per production requirements.
- Coordinate with Stores for GRN, material receipt discrepancies, and rejection/return of defective supplies.
- Liaise with Quality for incoming inspection issues and with Finance
