The role
As a Children’s Residential Support Worker, you’ll be part of a dedicated team creating a safe, reliable and nurturing home environment. You’ll support children through challenges, build meaningful relationships and empower them to develop confidence, independence and a sense of belonging.

Qualifications And Requirements
- To hold NVQ/QCF/CYP Level 3 or Level Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent or be willing to work towards
- Understanding of current legislative framework and organisational policies
- Commitment to ongoing training, supervision, and development

Role Suitability Checklist
To meet the physical and practical demands of the role, you must be able to:
- Safely perform physical interventions and restraints (once trained)
- Walk long distances during outings and community activities
- Carry heavy provisions or equipment for trips and activities
- Get down to floor level to engage in play or therapeutic activities
- Work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins
- Hold a full UK driving licence
