The Team
The SAM Transition Team ensures designated software titles are authorized, actively managed, and successfully transitioned into sustainable SAM operations. The SAM Transition Specialist will serve as the operational bridge between the Software Review Team (SRT) discovery function and SAM Operations, managing the complete transition of newly assigned software titles from identification through sustained compliance by SAM Operations. Additionally,
the SAM Governance Specialist may also facilitate removing titles from the operation when functionality is no longer required.
How You Will Contribute
- ITAM Programme Governance – Plan & Build
- Own process governance for newly assigned or software titles identified to be removed
- Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for remediation cycle times and success rates
- Develop and execute automation and tooling roadmap for new titles entering SAM
- Plan, execute, and report on remediation activities for designated software titles
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders (Engineering, Legal, Global Security Office, Data Privacy, Vendors, Business Units, IT Business Partners and the Office of the CIO (OCIO)
- Asset Inventory & Renewal Management
- Manage recent software title discovery and inventory across ServiceNow, Intune, SCCM, and Active Directory
- Update and maintain the master software catalogue in
