Job Description – Accountant

Position-Accountant

Job Location-Topsia, Kolkata

Salary-₹15,000 – ₹20,000 per month + PF & ESI Benefits

Experience-Minimum 3 Years

Educational Qualification

* B.Com (Bachelor of Commerce) – Mandatory

* Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation.

Required Skills

* *Tally ERP/Tally Prime knowledge is compulsory*

* Good knowledge of MS Excel and Microsoft Office.

* Understanding of GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.

* Strong analytical and numerical skills.

* Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

* Maintain day-to-day accounting records in **Tally**.

* Record sales, purchases, receipts, and payments accurately.

* Prepare vouchers, invoices, and journal entries.

* Handle bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation.

* Prepare GST and TDS data for filing.

* Maintain purchase and sales registers.

* Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.

* Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.





* Coordinate with auditors, CA, and management whenever required.

* Maintain proper accounting documentation and filing.

* Prepare financial reports and MIS as required by management.

* Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and statutory regulations.

Candidate Profile

* Minimum *3 years of experience* as an Accountant.

* *B.Com* graduate.

* *Hands-on experience in Tally is mandatory.*

* Good communication and organizational skills.

* Honest, responsible, and detail-oriented.

* Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
