Primary functions of this role will include:
- Perform cost segregation (i.e., capitalization of fixed assets) on large and complex projects with multiple asset components
- SAP Experience is mandatory for the role
- 3-4 years of relevant experience into Fixed Assets as Fixed Creation, Capitalization, Transfers, Disposals, Depreciation, Month End Close, Reconciliation.
- Drive meetings with management to address accounting/company policy guidance
- Identify technical/engineering aspects of assets to clarify and opine on associated costs
- Perform review of peer or lowered-tier staff work products
- Train/mentor new/lowered-tier staff
- Prepare quarterly complex account reconciliations and CapEx reports
- Ensure compliance with Corporate Policies and SOX Controls
- Satisfactorily address customer inquiries in a timely manner
- Establish and maintain solid working relationships with BU management
