Role Description
The Public Speaking Tutor (USA Shift) is a part-time, remote role focused on teaching public speaking and related communication skills to students aged 4 to 18. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and delivering online lessons, guiding learners through speeches, presentations, and storytelling exercises, and providing constructive, age-appropriate feedback. The tutor will assess student progress, adapt teaching methods to different learning levels, and maintain transparent communication with learners and caregivers.
The role also involves preparing lesson materials, managing online classroom tools, and ensuring a safe, inclusive, and encouraging learning environment aligned with Titan kid’s standards.
Qualifications
- Strong public speaking, presentation, and verbal communication skills suitable for teaching children and teenagers.
- Experience in teaching, tutoring, or mentoring young learners in online or classroom settings.
- Ability to design and deliver structured, engaging lessons in public speaking and creative expression.
- Proficiency with online teaching platforms, video conferencing tools, and basic digital classroom management.
- Patience, empathy, and the ability to support learners with different communication styles and confidence levels.
- Clear, neutral English accent and availability to work USA-based shifts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Theatre, English, or a related field is preferred.
