As a Product Designer specializing in imos software at Magick Home, you will spearhead the creation and management of our module libraries, materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories. You will also play a pivotal role in shaping our Design-to-Manufacturing (D2M) systems. The ideal candidate brings solid, hands-on software implementation expertise combined with deep business acumen in the interior design and modular furniture industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Library Management
: Build and manage the core module library within imos software from the ground up.
- Product Configuration:
Create and configure materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories in the system.
- Variable & Parameter Mapping:
Develop, maintain, and assign variables to modules, adding the required parameters to ensure accurate representation in the front-end software.
- Workflow & Documentation:
Write and manage XML configurations for products, quotes, workflows, and document generation templates.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Work closely with the sales and pricing teams to define pricing strategies, configuring pricing rules, discounts, and quote calculations directly within the design software.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Core Experience (Mandatory):
4 to 6 years of hands-on experience in imos software implementation, specifically within the home interiors and modular furniture space.
- Industry Knowledge (Mandatory):
Deep understanding of the modular furniture and interior design industry.
- Implementation Track Record:
Strong functional configuration experience with at least two full-cycle implementations of design and production software.
- Technical Skills
: Proven experience building an imos library from scratch, alongside hands-on XML writing capabilities.
- Education:
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.
Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)
- Prior experience with, and knowledge of, the imos design software front-end ecosystem.
