Role Overview

As a
Senior Backend & AI Platform Engineer

, you will own the architecture and implementation of the cloud platform that connects CraftifAI Orbit applications with distributed AI model servers. You will design highly scalable backend systems capable of serving up to
100,000 concurrent users

while ensuring security, reliability, and low-latency communication.

This role sits at the intersection of backend engineering, cloud infrastructure, AI serving, security, and developer platforms.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, maintain,



and scale the cloud-based model serving infrastructure that powers CraftifAI Orbit.
- Develop robust APIs and backend services that enable seamless communication between Orbit applications and AI model servers running in the cloud.
- Architect systems capable of supporting
100K+ parallel users

with high availability, fault tolerance, and horizontal scalability.
- Build and manage authentication, authorization, role-based access control (RBAC), API key management, and user access policies for the CraftifAI Developer Portal.
- Implement usage metering including token counting, quota management, subscription plans, billing integration, and payment gateway workflows.
- Design and implement secure communication protocols, encryption mechanisms, privacy safeguards, and infrastructure security best practices to protect customer data and prevent unauthorized access.
