THE ROLE

We have a founder who lives and breathes product. What we need is someone who can take that product vision and make it real end to end, from what should we launch next” to “it's manufactured, quality-checked, and ready to ship.”

You'll work directly with the founder to own the full sourcing and operations pipeline: identifying what to build, finding and negotiating with the right manufacturing partners, and getting every product from concept to launch-ready. You're not managing vendors someone else picked. You're finding them, vetting them, and owning the outcome.

Compensation is Fixed + ESOPs. This is a founding-team seat with real ownership.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Product Sourcing & Selection

– Identify what to launch next — market gaps, competitive whitespace, category opportunities within color cosmetics and skin-forward formats.

– Work with the founder to prioritize the product roadmap based on feasibility, market insight, and manufacturing reality.

– Source and evaluate potential product concepts before they move into formulation.

Contract Manufacturing & Vendor Management

– Find, vet, and onboard contract manufacturers and OEM partners across categories.

– Negotiate MOQs, pricing, timelines, and terms — build a reliable manufacturing bench, not one-off deals.

– Own the relationship end to end: quality expectations, delivery reliability, responsiveness.

3. Production Pipeline & Launch Operations

– Manage the full journey from sampling to launch-ready production — coordinating between manufacturing, packaging, and quality checkpoints.

– Own inventory planning, logistics, and packaging sourcing so products are physically ready to sell, on time.

– Troubleshoot production issues in real time — delays, quality misses, vendor gaps — and solve them without waiting for direction.

4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

– Work closely with the formulation lead to ensure manufacturing feasibility is considered from day one, not bolted on after.
