A Modular Kitchen Supply Chain In-charge is responsible for managing the end-to-end supply chain operations for a modular kitchen company, ensuring the smooth flow of materials, products, and services from suppliers to customers. This role is crucial for maintaining efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality control in the procurement, production, and delivery of modular kitchen components.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Procurement & Supplier Management:
- Identify, negotiate, and maintain relationships with suppliers of raw materials, hardware, and finished goods used in modular kitchen manufacturing.
- Ensure the timely procurement of high-quality materials such as wood, laminates, countertops, hardware, and fittings.
- Conduct supplier audits to ensure compliance with quality standards, cost-efficiency, and delivery schedules.
- Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to ensure favorable pricing and payment terms.
2. Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels of raw materials and finished products to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained.
- Implement inventory control systems to avoid shortages or excess stock, using inventory management software.
- Ensure that materials are stored properly to avoid damage and maintain quality.
- Develop demand forecasts and supply plans in collaboration with the sales and production teams.
3. Logistics & Distribution:
- Manage the transportation and delivery of materials from suppliers to the manufacturing unit and finished products to customers.
- Coordinate with logistics partners for cost-effective and timely delivery of goods to franchisees, showrooms, and end customers.
