We are seeking a skilled and motivated Biomedical Engineer to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, calibration, troubleshooting, and performance optimization of biomedical equipment. The role requires close collaboration with clinical teams to ensure medical devices operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, calibrate, and maintain biomedical equipment and medical devices.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to medical equipment.
- Conduct testing and quality checks to ensure equipment meets safety and performance standards.
- Collaborate with doctors,
nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support clinical equipment needs.
- Coordinate with vendors for equipment servicing, warranty support, and repairs.
- Train healthcare staff on the proper operation and secure handling of biomedical equipment.
- Maintain service records, maintenance logs, calibration reports, and equipment inventory.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, NABH guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in biomedical technology and recommend equipment upgrades when required.
