Role & responsibilities
- Business Development & Lead Generation: Proactively identify, target, and acquire new business opportunities for NDT systems and custom testing machines across key sectors like Defense, Aerospace, PSUs, Automotive, and heavy engineering fabricators.
- Tender & Bid Management: Identify relevant public and private sector tenders (including tracking GeM and government portals). Drive the preparation, submission, and follow-up of techno-commercial bids and compliance sheets.
- Technical Consultative Sales: Conduct client site visits to assess components/structures that require non-destructive testing. Recommend the optimal NDT technology (Ultrasonic, Radiography, Magnetic Particle, Eddy Current, or Penetrant testing) based on material specifications and industry standards.
- Product Demonstrations: Perform hands-on product demonstrations and present technical "proof of concepts" to quality control heads, welding inspectors, and scientific evaluation committees to defend the accuracy and reliability of your machines.
- Estimation & Proposal Preparation:



Coordinate with internal engineering and estimation teams to build exact costing sheets and submit highly accurate, customized commercial proposals.
- Key Account Management: Maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing government organizations (like BHEL, DRDO, ISRO, and Railways) and corporate industrial clients to secure repeat business, annual maintenance contracts (AMCs), and retrofitting projects.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Tracking: Keep a close watch on competitor pricing, technology shifts, and emerging industry quality standards (such as ASME, ASTM, and ISO codes) to continuously refine your sales approach.
- Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain clean records of inquiries, quotations submitted, and follow-ups. Provide accurate monthly and quarterly sales forecasts directly to the Sales Head.
