About the Role

We are looking for a talented and experienced Senior Design Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design, hands-on experience with CAD tools, and the ability to design innovative automation solutions. Experience with pneumatic and electrical actuators is essential, while robotics experience will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements.
- Create detailed 3D models, manufacturing drawings, and assembly drawings using CAD software.
- Select and integrate mechanical components, pneumatic systems, and electrical actuators.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, electrical, and procurement teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review designs for manufacturability, cost optimization, and quality.
- Resolve design issues during manufacturing, assembly, and commissioning.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation, BOMs, and design standards.
- Support installation, testing,



and troubleshooting when required.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design engineering.
- Proven experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) design.
- Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, Creo, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of machine elements, fabrication, machining processes, and assembly.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic systems and electrical actuators.
- Good understanding of GD&T;, tolerances, and manufacturing processes.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in robotics and industrial automation.
- Exposure to servo systems, motion control, and PLC-based automation.
- Experience in customer-specific machine development.
