Lightwheel is a Physical AI infrastructure company, building SimReady assets, egocentric human data, and evaluation platforms that power robots to learn and deploy at scale. We capture real human behavior and daily tasks recorded from a first-person perspective using custom VR hardware and motion trackers and turn that into training data for frontier robotics models. The Role
We're looking for a sharp, organized, and proactive Ops & Strategy Intern to support our India operations. You'll work directly under the
India Operations Lead
, who oversees a network of data collection vendors across the country. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role: you'll be in the weeds of real operations, not running slides about them.
What You'll Do
- Vendor communication follow-ups
— Track open action items with our India vendor partners, chase updates,
and ensure nothing falls through the cracks between meetings
- Daily output tracking
— Monitor and compile daily data collection numbers across vendors, flag deviations, and maintain the operational dashboard
- Weekly review preparation
— Assemble vendor performance summaries, output reports, and issue logs ahead of leadership reviews
- Issue tracking
— Log, categorize, and follow up on operational issues using our internal ticketing system; coordinate between vendor teams and Lightwheel's QC team
- Reporting and documentation
— Draft internal briefs, maintain vendor status documents, ensure key information is consistently recorded
- Site visits
— Travel to vendor locations to observe operations, support onboarding or QC activities, and represent Lightwheel on the ground
- Process improvement
— Identify friction points in day-to-day ops and propose practical fixes; help build SOPs as we scale
