Role Overview

We are looking for strong Lead Backend Developers to build microservices powering a multi-country insurance/banking platform. The role involves API development, system integrations, and secure data exchange with local business units.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java + Spring Boot microservices
- Build and consume REST APIs and integrate with multiple external systems
- Work with GraphQL wrapper layer for API orchestration
- Implement token-based authentication (JWT) and integrate with CIAM/SSO
- Design scalable, resilient backend components
- Work with managed Postgres (GCP) and caching layers (Redis)
- Ensure high code quality through unit/integration tests
- Debug, optimize, and improve microservice performance

Required Skills
- 10 years of backend development experience




- Solid hands-on experience in:
- Java, J2EE
- Spring Boot / Spring Cloud
- REST API development
- Microservices architecture
- Experience with relational databases (Postgres preferred)
- Experience in high-integration/API-heavy environments
- Familiarity with distributed caching (Redis)
- Understanding of OAuth2/JWT/SSO flows

Nice to Have
- Experience with GCP (GKE, Cloud SQL)
- Knowledge of GraphQL
- Domain experience in financial services or insurance
- Message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
