Position Summary

The Senior Manager – R&D; will lead the company's research, product development, material innovation, and technology advancement initiatives across silicone, elastomer, thermoplastic, and biopharma product portfolios. The role will drive new product development, process innovation, regulatory compliance, customer-specific solutions, and commercialization of advanced polymer technologies.

The incumbent will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Production, Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, and Global Customers to develop innovative products that strengthen company market leadership.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership

* Develop and execute the R&D; roadmap aligned with business objectives.

* Identify emerging technologies, materials, and market opportunities.

* Lead innovation projects focused on healthcare, biopharma, medical devices, and industrial applications.

* Drive intellectual property creation, patents, and proprietary product development.
New Product Development (NPD)





* Lead end-to-end product development from concept to commercialization.

* Develop silicone tubing, hoses, gaskets, seals, single-use assemblies, molded and extruded polymer components.

* Design customized solutions based on customer requirements and industry standards.

* Manage prototype development, testing, validation, and scale-up activities.
Material & Process Innovation

* Research and evaluate current polymer materials, formulations, and compounds.

* Improve product performance, durability, biocompatibility, and process efficiency.

* Work on cost optimization through material engineering and process improvements.

* Develop innovative solutions for regulated industries.
Customer & Technical Support

* Provide technical leadership during customer discussions and audits.

* Support Sales and Business Development teams with technical presentations and product demonstrations.
