Role & responsibilities :
- Maintain accurate records of crate movement, availability, and losses using ERP/SAP systems
- Perform regular audits and reconciliation of crate stock across locations.
- Develop MIS reports and dashboards using advanced Excel.
- Ensure timely availability of crates for dispatch aligned with sales demand.
- Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse, and sales teams to support distribution planning.
- Monitor reverse logistics to ensure timely crate returns.
- Collaborate with the sales & Plant team to forecast crate requirements based on demand.
- Align crate availability with market distribution needs.
- Analyze sales vs crate utilization data to improve efficiency.
- Implement and improve digital crate tracking systems.
- Identify process gaps and drive automation initiatives
- Reduce losses, pilferage,
and operational inefficiencies.
- Monitor crate condition and ensuring hygiene standards.
- Replace damaged crates to prevent contamination risks.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and audit requirements.
- Coordinate with third-party vendors and transporters for crate movement and handling.
- Ensure accountability and compliance from vendors.
- Negotiate and optimize logistics costs where applicable
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations (PPT) for management review.
- Track KPIs such as crate loss %, turnaround time, and utilization efficiency.
- Provide actionable insights for cost reduction and performance improvement.
