Job Scope

The Manager - Materials & Logistics shall be responsible for end-to-end procurement, sourcing strategy, supply assurance, logistics coordination, and vendor management for key biomass feedstocks required across the CBG business. The role will primarily focus on ensuring uninterrupted availability of Press Mud for Balrampur and Kumbhi plants and Paddy Straw for Dhuri and Patran plants, while optimizing procurement costs, strengthening supplier relationships, and ensuring timely material movement to plant locations.

Key Responsibilities

Feedstock Procurement & Sourcing
- Develop and execute procurement strategies for Press Mud and Paddy Straw to meet annual and monthly plant requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard recent suppliers, aggregators, sugar mills, farmers,



and feedstock collection partners.
- Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, supply agreements, and service levels with suppliers.
- Ensure uninterrupted feedstock availability at all operating plants.
- Monitor market trends, crop patterns, seasonal availability, and competitor activities impacting feedstock procurement.
- Build long-term relationships with sugar mills, farmer groups, FPOs, aggregators, and logistics partners.

Contract Management
- Draft, negotiate, and administer procurement contracts and annual rate agreements.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and contractual obligations.
- Track supplier performance against agreed KPIs relating to quality, quantity, delivery schedules, and commercial commitments.

- Plan and coordinate transportation of feedstock from source locations to plants.
