A Part-Time Sociology Teacher in an ICSE school is responsible for teaching Sociology (Class XIXII level), helping students understand society, social institutions, and human behavior while preparing them for board examinations.

Key Responsibilities
- Teach Sociology to Classes XI & XII students according to the CISCE curriculum.
- Prepare lesson plans aligned with the syllabus.
- Deliver engaging classroom sessions using discussions, case studies, and presentations.
- Assess students through assignments, projects, tests, and examinations.
- Maintain student attendance, progress reports, and academic records.
- Guide students in project work and board exam preparation.




- Participate in parent-teacher meetings and faculty discussions as required.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

Qualifications
- Master's degree in Sociology (M.A. Sociology) preferred.
- B.Ed. is desirable (mandatory in many schools).
- Previous teaching experience in ICSE/ISC or CBSE schools is preferred.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Good understanding of the CISCE Sociology curriculum.
