Position Overview The Production Manager is the functional head of all production operations, responsible for complete ownership of production output, machine efficiency, manpower productivity, mould utilization, and production discipline. The Production Manager operates parallel to the Unit Head and has independent authority over production execution and performance.
- Complete Ownership of Production Output Responsible for achieving daily, weekly, and monthly production targets. Ensure all injection moulding machines operate at optimal efficiency. Ensure machines operate continuously with minimum downtime. Ensure planned production converts into actual output.
- Machine Efficiency and Utilization Ownership Ensure maximum utilization of all machines. Monitor cycle times and ensure adherence. Ensure proper mould changeover and setup. Ensure quick recovery from machine stoppages. Ensure machine downtime is minimized.
- Manpower Productivity Ownership Deploy manpower across moulding, printing, and merging sections as required. Ensure proper machine coverage across all shifts.



Responsible for manpower productivity and efficiency. Monitor operator performance. Train operators for productivity improvement.
- Quality Control Ownership (Production-side) Ensure production output meets quality standards. Ensure rejection levels are minimized. Ensure root cause correction of defects. Coordinate with QC team. Ensure operators follow QC procedures.
- Mould Utilization and Protection Responsible for mould safety and proper usage. Ensure mould changeovers are done correctly. Prevent mould damage due to mishandling. Ensure mould maintenance coordination.
- ERP and Production Monitoring Ownership (FactoryApp) Responsible for accurate production data. Monitor production through FactoryApp. Monitor machine efficiency reports. Monitor rejection and downtime data. Ensure ERP reflects actual production status.
- Production Continuity and Escalation Identify production risks in advance.
