Job Description:

Position: Design Engineer/ Sr. Design Engineer/ Lead Engineer

Exp.: 3 yrs to 7years

Notice period : Immediate to 30 days

Location: Pune, Baner

Educational Qualification:

BE Mechanical/Diploma/Post Diploma/ Tool Engineering

Experience & background:

Automotive Trim engineering and design

Experience in Trim Design at Automobile around 3Yrs. to 6 Yrs.

Experience on Interior Trims / Exterior Trim panels with detailed design & mounting strategy definition.

Knowledge on plastic part Design & tooling for checking tooling feasibility with tool direction definition, parting line & lider/ Lifter construction.

Should have exposure on Interface checks, DMU, Manufacturing and Service requirements.

Knowledge on plastics parts Gap-Flush, BSR requirements.

Awareness of CAE, Vehicle DVP & Validation requirements

CATIA/UG NX parametric Modeling.

Understand the GD & T and 3D annotation on CATIA model

Expert in Catia V5 and engineering data management systems.

Responsibilities:





Ensure the CAD Design release as per project timeline.

Benchmarking of competitions vehicles for features, ergonomics & Weight optimization.

Provide Design feasibility to Styling by preparing multiple part proposals for improving part quality and interface.

Preparation of DCS & Support PPT for Reviews

Do the preliminary Tooling feasibility of parts with tool direction definition, parting line & Slider/ Lifter construction.

Data releases for Vendor on Board, CAE & to Suppliers for Feasibility.

Release of 3D models in Team center /PLM systems with related Quality checks.

Perform the DMU, Assembly and Service study on designs

Provide 3D CATIA models with GD &T; Annotations

CAD Design proposals preparation in consultation with internal external (Supplier) experts.

Preparation of Bill of material.
