Role Description
The Literary Intern is a full-time, in office role based in Kolkata, supporting the creation and refinement of written content aligned with Business Yoga’s philosophy. Day-to-day work may include drafting articles, essays, and short-form pieces, assisting with editing and proofreading, and maintaining consistency in tone and messaging across platforms. The intern may help with research on yoga, mindfulness, ethics, and leadership, and compile insights into clear, engaging content.



Responsibilities can also involve organizing and updating content archives, supporting scriptwriting for talks or workshops, and collaborating with mentors on new literary projects. This role offers hands-on experience in content development within a values-driven, contemplative business setting.

Qualifications
- Strong writing, storytelling, and basic editing abilities, with an interest in reflective or philosophical themes.
- Capacity to conduct structured research and synthesize information into clear, accessible content.
- Attention to detail in grammar, style, and structure, with openness to feedback and revision.
- Genuine interest in yoga, mindfulness, ethics, or conscious business, even at a beginner level.
- Ability to work on-site in Kolkata, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines under guidance.
