We are seeking a detail-oriented Certification Analyst II / Compliance Analyst to conduct investigations into websites, merchants, online pharmacies, healthcare providers, telemedicine companies, and e-commerce businesses. In this role, you will evaluate certification applications, perform OSINT research, assess regulatory compliance, and identify fraudulent or policy-violating activities. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams while making independent certification decisions and maintaining high investigative standards.

Key Responsibilities

Investigations & Compliance
- Conduct investigations of websites, merchants, online pharmacies, healthcare providers, telemedicine companies, and e-commerce businesses.
- Review certification applications and determine eligibility against established compliance standards.
- Perform Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) research using public records, government databases, licensing boards, business registrations, WHOIS records, and other online resources.
- Analyze website content, products, services, advertising claims, payment methods,



ownership structures, and licensing information.
- Identify fraudulent, illegal, counterfeit, deceptive, or policy-violating products and services.
- Verify regulatory compliance using applicable federal, state, and international regulations.

Reporting & Decision Making
- Prepare detailed investigative reports documenting findings and certification recommendations.
- Make independent certification decisions and escalate complex or high-risk cases when necessary.
- Monitor certification renewals, applicant responses, documentation updates, and ongoing compliance status.
- Maintain accurate documentation within internal workflow and case management systems.

Communication & Collaboration
- Communicate professionally with applicants regarding certification requirements and missing documentation.
- Collaborate with Legal, Engineering, Product Management, Compliance, and Quality Assurance team
