Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for electrical installation and integration of company equipment on
mining machinery (trucks, diggers, and other heavy equipment), along with
troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring timely solutions to reduce
downtime.
- Inspect and test electrical components, wiring, and equipment regularly.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures while working
in hazardous mine environments.
- Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
- Coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- ITI certification in Electrical (Electrician trade).
- Minimum 0– 2 of experience in electrical work (mining or industrial sector
preferred).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices.
- Ability to work in a challenging mine-site environment with extended working hours
(54 hours/week, 6 days working).
- Physically fit and willing to work in field conditions.
