This role operates within a global, high-volume logistics and finance workplace where freight invoices are processed across multiple transportation modes (parcel, LTL, FTL, ocean, air) and carriers (UPS, DHL, Expeditors, etc.). It supports end-to-end freight audit, carrier billing validation, and reporting processes, ensuring alignment with contracted rates, tariffs, and internal financial controls. Work is executed within integrated systems (e.g., TMS such as Blue Yonder and ERP such as SAP) where data accuracy, invoice matching, and audit traceability are critical. The role requires close collaboration with Logistics, Accounts Payable, Procurement, IT, and external carriers, particularly to resolve billing discrepancies, manage disputes, and improve processes. Due to complex billing structures (e.g., accessorials, surcharges, multi-leg shipments), there is an ongoing need to analyze data, identify trends, and enhance billing accuracy and cost efficiency, while ensuring compliance and supporting financial reporting.

Work Supported:




- Execute end-to-end freight invoice audit and validation, ensuring alignment with contracted rates, tariffs, and shipment data
- Identify, investigate, and resolve billing discrepancies, duplicate charges, and non-compliant invoices
- Manage carrier billing interactions, including dispute initiation, follow-up, escalation, and resolution
- Perform root cause analysis on recurring billing issues and drive corrective actions
- Operate within and validate data across TMS (e.g., Blue Yonder) and ERP systems (SAP) to ensure accuracy and integration
- Maintain audit documentation, controls, and traceability for compliance and governance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Logistics, AP, Procurement,) to resolve issues and improve workflows
- Support carrier onboarding, rate validation, and system/process enhancements
- Contribute to SOP development, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives
