About the Role

NuSummit is looking for a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support strategic engineering initiatives for Morgan Stanley Advantage Services (MSAS). This role is ideal for engineers with a robust software engineering foundation in Python and modern backend frameworks, coupled with hands-on experience in SRE, DevOps, and cloud-native platforms.

You will be responsible for developing platform services, automating operational workflows, improving platform reliability, and supporting mission-critical enterprise applications running at scale.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Python, Django, Flask, and FastAPI.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices following Object-Oriented Design principles.
- Develop automation solutions to improve platform reliability, scalability, availability, and operational efficiency.




- Build and enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using DevOps best practices.
- Develop integrations with enterprise platforms, internal tools, and cloud-native services.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and implement permanent resolutions.
- Collaborate with Development, Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Operations teams to improve system reliability and performance.
- Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions for proactive incident management.
- Support containerized applications deployed on Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize application performance, database interactions, and API response times.
- Participate in production support, incident management, on-call rotations, and operational excellence initiatives.
- Follow engineering best practices including code reviews, automated testing, documentation, and CI/CD.
