Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Accountant
with hands-on experience in
Indian Accounting, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance
. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in accounting principles, taxation, reconciliations, and financial reporting. The candidate must possess good communication skills and be able to coordinate effectively with internal teams, vendors, auditors, and consultants.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
- Maintain books of accounts using
Tally ERP/Tally Prime
.
- Prepare and post journal, payment, receipt, and contra entries.
- Handle
Accounts Payable (AP)
and
Accounts Receivable (AR)
.
- Prepare and file
GST Returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9)
.
- Deduct, deposit, reconcile, and file
TDS returns (24Q/26Q)
.
- Perform GST and TDS reconciliations with books and government portals.
- Generate
E-Invoices
and
E-Way Bills
,



where applicable.
- Conduct bank, vendor, customer, and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports and financial statements.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and statutory authorities during audits.
- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, PF, ESI, and other statutory regulations.
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documentation.

Required Skills
- Solid knowledge of
Indian Accounting Standards
.
- Hands-on experience with
GST, TDS, Income Tax, and statutory compliance
.
- Excellent working knowledge of
Tally ERP/Tally Prime
.
- Strong proficiency in
MS Excel
(VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Lookup Functions, Basic Formulas).
- Good analytical, reconciliation, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
