About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented
Junior IT Recruiter
to join our Talent Acquisition team on a 6-month contract basis at our Siruseri, Chennai office. This role is ideal for someone early in their recruitment career who wants to build strong sourcing and hiring skills within the IT/tech domain.

Key Responsibilities
- Source, screen, and shortlist candidates for IT positions (developers, QA, support engineers, etc.) through job portals, LinkedIn, internal databases, and referrals
- Post job openings on relevant job boards and social media platforms
- Conduct initial telephonic/HR screening to assess candidate skills, experience, and cultural fit
- Coordinate and schedule interviews between candidates and hiring managers
- Maintain and update the applicant tracking system (ATS) with accurate candidate data
- Follow up with candidates through the interview and offer process to ensure a smooth experience




- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future openings
- Coordinate offer rollouts, documentation, and onboarding formalities
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand role requirements and hiring timelines
- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, etc.) and share regular status reports

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline (HR/Business specialization preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment (IT recruitment experience is a plus, freshers with strong communication skills may also apply)
- Basic understanding of IT roles, technologies, and terminologies (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Positive communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Familiarity with job portals (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed) and ATS tools is an advantage
- Strong organizational skills and ability
