Position: Public Relations Officer (PRO)

Job Summary

The Public Relations Officer (PRO) will be responsible for developing and maintaining a positive public image for Cheran Group. The role involves managing relationships with media, educational stakeholders, government authorities, students, parents, corporate partners, and the public while ensuring effective communication of the organization's achievements, events, and initiatives.

Key ResponsibilitiesPublic Relations & Communication
- Build and maintain a positive image of the organization.
- Develop solid relationships with media houses, journalists, and digital media.
- Draft and distribute press releases, news articles, and official statements.
- Handle media inquiries and coordinate interviews with management.
- Represent the organization during public events and official meetings.

Stakeholder Management




- Maintain cordial relationships with students, parents, alumni, government officials, and industry partners.
- Address public queries and coordinate with concerned departments for timely resolution.
- Support admissions and marketing teams during admission campaigns.
- Coordinate with schools, colleges, hospitals, industries, and community organizations for outreach activities.

Event Management
- Plan and coordinate seminars, conferences, workshops, educational fairs, and institutional events.
- Organize press meets, inauguration ceremonies, MoU signings, and corporate events.
- Ensure smooth coordination with vendors, guests, media personnel, and internal departments.

Corporate Communications
- Prepare speeches, newsletters, brochures, annual reports, and promotional materials.
- Coordinate social media content with the digital marketing team.
