The Manager – Projects Retail Fit-Out will be responsible for project cost engineering, BOQ preparation, vendor commercial integration, technical feasibility assessment, and prototype execution support. The role will actively participate in client pitches and project discussions by providing technical consultation related to materials, costing, execution feasibility, and value engineering solutions.
This role acts as a bridge between Business Development, Design and Execution teams to ensure commercially viable and technically feasible project planning and delivery.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
1. Cost Engineering & BOQ Management
· Prepare detailed BOQs, quantity estimations, and project costing sheets
· Analyze project requirements and prepare commercially competitive costing structures
· Ensure costing accuracy aligned with project scope and execution feasibility
· Maintain standardized costing templates and estimation processes
2. Vendor Commercial & Rate Card Management
· Develop, maintain, and update vendor rate cards across categories
· Conduct comparative commercial analysis and vendor benchmarking
· Coordinate with procurement and vendors for cost optimization
· Support commercial negotiations and cost finalization
3. Technical Feasibility & Material Consultation
· Evaluate material suitability, production feasibility, and execution practicality
· Recommend technically viable and commercially optimized solutions
· Identify project risks and execution challenges during planning stage
· Suggest alternative materials and value-engineering solutions
4. Prototype & Sample Execution
· Coordinate prototype and sample development with internal teams and vendors
· Ensure prototypes are executed as per approved specifications and timelines
· Monitor prototype quality, dimensions, finish, and material standards
· Resolve technical and execution-related issues during development stage
