Software Development Engineer 3 – RAID (UEFI / Linux) THE ROLE The Bengaluru team is responsible for the development, validation, and delivery of AMD RAID software solutions for laptops, desktops, and workstation platforms supporting the AMD RAID ecosystem. Our scope spans the full software stack—from firmware and pre-OS components in UEFI to operating system drivers and user-space applications across Linux and Windows environments. As a Software Development Engineer in this team, you will contribute to the design and development of Software RAID solutions across UEFI and Linux platforms, working on firmware components, low-level system software, and device drivers. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with hardware and software teams on storage technologies, platform enablement, driver development, and debugging for next-generation AMD platforms. You will be part of a highly team-oriented engineering team involved in the full product lifecycle, including architecture, design,



implementation, integration, validation, and customer issue resolution. THE PERSON We are looking for a versatile and highly motivated engineer with strong system software fundamentals and a passion for low-level development. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in Linux device driver development, solid programming skills in C/C++, and a good understanding of firmware and operating system internals. You should be comfortable working across software layers—from UEFI/firmware to Linux kernel drivers—and enjoy solving complex technical problems in storage and platform software. Experience in RAID, storage subsystems, or device-driver debugging will be a strong advantage.
