- Support the scenario analysis workstream for the countries
- Point of contact for the country related climate stress tests and scenario analysis
- Support the reporting and TCFD requirements for countries
- Promote Risk Governance.
The job holder will be based in Bangalore and focusing on providing support for the Group Climate Risk team. The role holder will work in close alignment with a dedicated onshore manager that covers content driven topics and senior stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy
- Support the Climate Risk scenario workstream focused on regulatory and management stress testing and scenario analysis, as well as periodic analysis including portfolio sensitivity analysis to both transition and physical risks.
- Support the use of climate scenario analysis for various objectives, including risk management, business decision making and strategy, corporate and account planning. Ensure that appropriate risk parameters and business targets are set up and adequately consider Group's stress results.
- Support the development of a climate scenarios knowledge base, including research into industry best practices, regulatory and academic developments.
- Focus on execution while being creative, ability to take accountability and find ways to be part of the solution even when identifying problems.
- Support country teams in executing local climate risk related stress testing and scenario analysis needs.
- Have an automation-based mind set to support the automation of the scenario analysis for countries.
