We are seeking a skilled Creo Draftsman to create and maintain detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for mechanical components, assemblies, and products. The candidate will work closely with design engineers to develop manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation while ensuring compliance with design standards and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D engineering drawings using PTC Creo.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with GD&T;, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Generate assembly drawings, exploded views, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Collaborate with design and manufacturing teams to incorporate design changes.
- Ensure drawings comply with company standards and industry best practices.
- Maintain engineering documentation and revision control.
- Support prototype development and production activities.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, and manufacturability.
- Coordinate with vendors for fabrication and machining requirements when needed.
Requirements
Required Skills
- Proficiency in PTC Creo Parametric (3D Modeling & Drafting).
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering drawings and drafting standards.
- Understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing).
- Experience with sheet metal, machined parts, plastic components, and assemblies.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as machining, fabrication, injection molding, and 3D printing.
- Familiarity with BOM creation and engineering change management.
- Positive analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hyderabad Local Candidates Preferred.
Qualifications
- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 2–5 years of experience in mechanical drafting and product design.
- Hands-on experience with Creo drafting and documentation.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with PLM/PDM systems.
- Exposure to medical devices, industrial equipment, or automation products.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and other
