Position Summary
We are looking for a talented and experienced individual who has a passion for BIM and software development especially for Autodesk Revit workflows and APIs. You will be part of a small team tasked with developing cutting edge BIM solutions that the AEC community with love and will drive sales for our business. This senior developer role focuses on building and enhancing digital innovation solutions that integrated directly with BIM software (especially for Autodesk) in agile development setting. Works directly with Product Owner, UX/UI Designer and other SME s to understand product requirements, works with small team of developers to design the technical architecture, develops and performs end to end testing and documentation. This opportunity requires high level of critical thinking and communication skills to interact our internal team and clients and participation in discovery meeting or calls to assess and scope opportunities.
Must Have
At least 5 years of demonstrated and recent direct experience with the process, workflow and use of Autodesk Revit MEP and analysis software from conceptual design through construction
Prior documented best-in-class application (add-in/plug-in) development experience using the Revit SDK/API
Experience working with BIM elements, geometry, symbols, and core API objects in Revit.
Good understanding of Revit (modeling software from Autodesk) inner workings, how various features within Revit work, how to use Revit API s to develop plugins
Previous experience using the Revit SDK/API to develop add-ins, developing and manipulating Revit families
Previous experience developing add-ins that integrate with third party libraries and tools, including Rhino, using Revit APIs.
Strong C#
Working knowledge of multiple Image formats
Working knowledge of JSON
Working knowledge of utilizing web services
Knowledge of the Autodesk App Store (Revit Appstore)
