Job Description

As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, and securing enterprise-grade backend services and data platforms, with a primary focus on identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across services, APIs, and database layers.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead backend security remediation efforts, addressing vulnerabilities across services, APIs, and database layers.
- Identify, analyze, and remediate application and data-layer vulnerabilities (e.g., injection flaws, insecure APIs, data exposure, dependency risks).
- Design and develop secure, scalable backend services using Java and .NET frameworks.
- Implement secure API design patterns, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and data protection.
- Analyze existing backend systems and databases to identify security gaps and implement remediation strategies.
- Develop and optimize data models, queries, and database access patterns with a focus on performance and security.
- Perform hands-on debugging, root cause analysis,



and vulnerability validation for backend and data-related issues.
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and resilience of backend systems supporting 24x7 operations.
- Promote a secure SDLC and engineering excellence, driving adoption of best practices across the team.

SKILLS / QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

10+ years of full-stack development experience with deep expertise in .NET / C# / ASP.NET Core and modern application architectures.

5+ years of hands-on Angular development experience (Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS).

Proven experience identifying and remediating application security vulnerabilities (e.g., OWASP Top 10, SAST/DAST findings, dependency risks).

Solid knowledge of secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns, data protection, and API security.

Experience with Agile methodologies and engineering prac
