We are seeking a skilled and motivated Traffic Simulation Engineer with hands-on experience in PTV VISSIM to join our Transportation Planning team. The candidate will be responsible for developing, calibrating, validating, and analyzing microscopic traffic simulation models for highways, urban roads, intersections, and major infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop microscopic & Macroscopic traffic simulation models using PTV VISSIM.
- Perform model coding, calibration, and validation based on IRC, MoRTH, and international guidelines.
- Conduct traffic impact assessments (TIA), intersection analysis, corridor analysis, and network performance studies.
- Prepare simulation models for:
- Signalized & Unsignalized Junctions
- Grade Separators
- Urban Road Networks
- Highways & Expressways
- Toll Plazas
- Bus Rapid Transit (BRT)
- Smart City Projects
- Analyze traffic operations using:
- Queue Length
- Delay
- Level of Service (LOS)
- Average Speed
- Travel Time
- Vehicle Density
- Develop and optimize traffic signal timings.
- Prepare simulation videos and graphical outputs for client presentations.
- Coordinate with survey teams for traffic data collection and verification.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client deliverables.
- Support proposal preparation, technical bids, and DPR assignments.
- Attend client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions.
