Primary Job Function
- The role leads the Compensation and Benefits function for a designated business segment of Abbott India, serving as a strategic advisor to HR and business leadership on compensation, benefits, wellness, and workforce rewards strategies.
- It also leads the C&B; products such as Benefits, Wellness, Compliances, Compensation analytics or salary structures for all India businesses as a product cutting across all business divisions.

Core Job Responsibilities
The role is responsible for Compensation and Benefits function for a business segment in India HR and will partner with internal clients (HR and Business Leaders) to design, review and update compensation and benefits policies and processes through internal and external feedback to attract, motivate and retain employees.

Compensation Consulting:
- Serve as trusted advisory to HR and business leaders providing regular compensation and benefits consulting support and ensuring all decisions and actions related to C&B; are in line with Abbott philosophy and guidelines.




- Provide recommendations and support decision making for job evaluations and various pay actions (job offers, promotions, equity increases, bonus buyouts, etc.) by utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate to support the business in ensuring correct pay and grade fitment for roles.

Compensation Benchmarking & Salary Structures
- Drive market benchmarking using multiple survey sources and external market intelligence to assess competitiveness of compensation programs.
- Develop, review, and revise salary structures and pay ranges to support internal equity and market competitiveness.
- Support annual compensation planning activities including salary reviews, incentive planning, and pay governance processes.
- Analyze market trends and emerging compensation practices to recommend enhancements to compensation programs and policies.
