Job Description – Senior Accounts Executive (Construction/Civil Industry)

Salary: ₹30,000 – ₹35,000 per month

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accounts Executive with a strong background in the Construction/Civil industry. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience managing project-based accounting, contractor and vendor payments, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. Candidates from non-construction industries will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations and maintain accurate financial records.
- Process vendor, subcontractor, and contractor bills and ensure timely payments.
- Verify purchase invoices, work orders, measurement sheets, and payment documents.
- Handle accounts payable and receivable.




- Perform bank reconciliations and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance data and coordinate timely filings.
- Record accounting entries in Tally ERP and ERP software.
- Maintain project-wise cost records and expense tracking.
- Prepare monthly MIS reports, cash flow reports, and financial statements.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Projects, Contracts, and Site teams regarding billing and payments.
- Assist in monthly and annual book closing and support statutory and internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial controls.

Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
- 3–4 years of experience in the Construction/Civil/Real Estate industry is mandatory.
- Robust knowledge of Tally ERP, ERP systems, and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
