Role Title

Corporate Finance Controller (CFC)

Key Responsibilities
- Accounts management
: day-to-day bookkeeping oversight, ledger accuracy, reconciliations (bank, broker payables/receivables, insurer statements)
- Financial reporting
: monthly/quarterly P&L;, balance sheet, cash flow statements; MIS reports for management
- Regulatory & compliance
: GST filings, TDS, IRDAI-related financial compliance (if applicable to broking license conditions), ROC filings, statutory audit coordination
- Commission & brokerage accounting
: tracking insurer commission receivables, broker payouts — this is somewhat specialized to insurance broking, so flag it explicitly




- Budgeting & forecasting
: annual budgets, variance analysis
- Cash flow management
: working capital, payment cycles
- Internal controls
: SOPs for finance processes, fraud prevention
- Liaison
: with auditors, tax consultants, banks, and possibly IRDAI on financial matters

Qualifications
- Chartered Accountant (CA)
— mandatory, as you specified
- 2+ years
experience in insurance, broking, NBFC, or financial services — accounting nuances around commission income, insurer reconciliations, and IRDAI compliance differ from standard trading/manufacturing accounting ( Negotiable)
- Working knowledge of Tally/Zoho Books/SAP or whatever accounting software you use
- Robust Excel skills
