Position Overview

We are looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Medical Billing, Coding &

Insurance Specialist to join our healthcare operations team. The ideal candidate will be

responsible for ensuring the accurate coding of medical services, efficient billing processes,

timely insurance claim submissions, and prompt reimbursement follow-up. This role is vital in

maintaining a smooth revenue cycle while ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and protecting patient confidentiality.

The successful candidate should possess a strong understanding of medical coding standards, insurance policies, revenue cycle management (RCM), and healthcare billing procedures, along

with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

1. Medical Coding

• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS Level II codes to patient diagnoses,

procedures, and services.

• Review physician documentation and medical records to ensure coding accuracy and

completeness.

• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and payer-specific regulations.





• Identify documentation discrepancies and coordinate with healthcare providers for

clarification when necessary.

2. Medical Billing

• Prepare, review, and submit clean insurance claims electronically and manually.

• Generate patient invoices, billing statements, and payment reminders.

• Ensure all billing information is complete, accurate, and compliant before claim

submission.

• Maintain accurate billing records and supporting documentation.

3. Insurance Verification & Claims Management

• Verify patient insurance eligibility, advantages, coverage, deductibles, co-payments, and

prior authorization requirements.

• Submit insurance claims within payer deadlines to maximize reimbursement.

• Track claim status and monitor pending claims through clearinghouses and payer portals.
