Job Description – Zonal Sales Manager (South)

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Zonal Sales Manager to drive business growth for our solar inverters, battery energy storage, and renewable energy solutions across the South region. The ideal candidate will have a strong B2B sales background, proven leadership experience, and a solid understanding of the solar ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales of solar inverters, batteries, and energy storage solutions across the assigned territory.
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Identify and acquire new channel partners, distributors, EPCs, and key customers.
- Manage the complete sales cycle, from lead generation to order closure and post-sales coordination.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and identify new business opportunities.




- Lead, mentor, and motivate the regional sales team to deliver business objectives.
- Coordinate with technical and marketing teams to support customer requirements and business expansion.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and ensure timely collections.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical); MBA is an added advantage.
- 12–15 years of overall sales experience.
- 8–12 years of experience in a Sales Manager or Head of Sales role.
- 4–5 years of experience in the solar, battery, energy storage, or renewable energy industry.
- Strong experience in B2B sales, channel management, and team leadership.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively across South India.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 - ₹1,900,000.00 per year
