Dr. Shroff’s Charity Eye Hospital (SCEH), founded in 1926 by Dr. Sorabji P. Shroff, is one of North India’s largest tertiary eye care institutes and has been a trusted center of excellence for a century. Role Description
This is a full-time,
on-site Biomedical Engineer role based in Munger. The Biomedical Engineer will be responsible for installing, calibrating, and maintaining medical equipment used in ophthalmic diagnostics, surgery, and patient care. Daily tasks include performing routine and preventive maintenance, troubleshooting equipment issues, coordinating repairs with vendors, and ensuring that all devices meet safety and regulatory standards. The role involves supporting clinical teams during equipment-related procedures, maintaining accurate documentation of service records, and participating in equipment planning, procurement, and technology upgrades. The Biomedical Engineer will collaborate with hospital administration and clinical staff to optimize equipment performance, minimize downtime, and contribute to high-quality, patient-centered eye care.
