Job description

The ideal candidate will
lead the end-to-end strategic sourcing
of electronic components, sub-assemblies, and PCBA (Printed Circuit Board Assemblies). They will manage global supplier relationships and optimize product costs.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing & Vendor Management
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard
top-tier global and domestic suppliers for semiconductors, passive components, PCBs, connectors, and PCBAs.
- Develop commodity strategies
to align with product roadmaps, pricing goals, and supply security.

Cost Optimization & Negotiation
- Execute total cost of ownership (TCO)
analysis to drive continuous cost-reduction pipelines.

Risk Mitigation & Lifecycle Management
- Establish multi-sourcing strategies
(second/third sourcing) for critical,



long-lead-time active components.
- Partner with R&D; and Hardware Engineering
during early NPI phases to guide Component Engineering toward readily available parts.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Education & Technical Knowledge
- B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics
& Communication, or a highly related technical discipline.
- Deep technical understanding
of electronic components, PCBA manufacturing workflows, and semiconductor supply chains.
- Expert knowledge of global electronics distributors
(e.g., Arrow, Avnet, Future, DigiKey, Mouser) and direct component manufacturers.
