Role Description
The Bus Body Designer will be responsible for designing and detailing bus bodies that meet structural, safety, and aesthetic requirements for various clients and operating conditions. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating 2D and 3D design layouts, preparing engineering drawings, collaborating with production teams to ensure manufacturability, and coordinating with procurement for material specifications.



The role involves reviewing customer requirements and regulatory standards, optimizing designs for durability and cost-effectiveness, and supporting prototype builds and design revisions based on testing and feedback. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Vijayawada, requiring close collaboration with shop-floor teams and other engineering staff.

Qualifications
- Strong skills in bus body design, including structural layout, seating arrangement, and integration of interiors, doors, windows, and storage areas.
- Proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) for creating detailed engineering drawings and assemblies.
- Knowledge of vehicle body materials, fabrication processes, welding, and assembly methods relevant to bus and commercial vehicle manufacturing.
- Understanding of safety norms, homologation requirements, and applicable standards for bus
