Key Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise day-to-day laboratory operations across all diagnostic departments.
- Ensure productive workflow and timely reporting of laboratory test results.
- Monitor laboratory productivity, turnaround times, and service quality.
- Implement operational improvements to enhance efficiency and patient satisfaction.
- Coordinate maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.

Quality Assurance & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with NABL, CAP, ISO 15189, CLIA, and other applicable regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and monitor quality assurance and quality control programs.
- Conduct internal audits and prepare for external inspections and accreditation assessments.
- Investigate non-conformities and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).

Team Leadership & People Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate laboratory personnel.




- Develop staff competency programs and continuing education initiatives.
- Create work schedules and allocate resources to maintain optimal staffing levels.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

FInventory Management
- Monitor laboratory expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Ensure optimal utilization of laboratory equipment and resources.

Safety & Risk Management
- Ensure compliance with laboratory safety policies and infection control procedures.
- Monitor handling and disposal of biological and hazardous waste.
- Conduct regular safety training and risk assessments.
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
