Substantial knowledge of Switching and Routing Architectures

Ability to utilize packet analysis tools and be proficient at reading network packet streams

Substantial knowledge of protocols such as RIPv2, OSPF-TE, IS-IS, IS-IS-TE, BGP, MPLS and SIP

Demonstrated knowledge of Ring topology

Substantial knowledge of tunneling technologies such as L2 and L3 VPNs

Optical Network

Demonstrated knowledge of optical long haul, including ROADMs and Amplifiers

Demonstrated knowledge of DWDM

Demonstrated knowledge of ITU grid

Demonstrated knowledge of OUT-2, OUT-3 (40G), OUT-4 (100G) and OUT-5 (400G) interfaces
