About the Role

We are hiring a Chartered Accountant with solid exposure to legal, regulatory, and compliance work to join our finance team. This role sits at the intersection of finance and law, ideal for a CA who has handled contract review, tax litigation, corporate compliance, or regulatory filings alongside core accounting work.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage statutory compliance under Companies Act, Income Tax Act, GST, and FEMA
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements
- Liaise with external legal counsel on litigation, disputes, and regulatory matters
- Oversee tax planning, assessments, and representation before tax authorities
- Support corporate governance: board resolutions, ROC filings, secretarial compliance
- Conduct internal audits and risk assessments with a compliance lens




- Advise leadership on legal and financial risk in business decisions

Requirements
- Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI)
- LLB or equivalent legal qualification/certification preferred
- 3+ years of experience handling both financial and legal/compliance functions
- Strong knowledge of corporate law, taxation, and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills

Good to Have
- Company Secretary (CS) qualification
- Experience with M&A; due diligence or tax litigation
- Prior experience in a Big 4 firm, corporate legal team, or boutique advisory practice
