Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Design & Estimation Engineer to join our engineering team. In this dual-faceted role, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of customized overhead cranes and hoists while executing precise cost estimation and technical proposals for recent inquiries and tenders.
An ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience in designing Single/Double Girder EOT cranes, Gantry cranes, Jib cranes, and electric wire rope hoists in compliance with relevant Indian and International standards (IS 3177, IS 807, IS 3938, FEM, DIN). You will bridge the gap between initial client requirements and final product manufacturing by ensuring structurally sound, cost-effective, and highly competitive designs.
Key Responsibilities

Design & Engineering (Mechanical & Structural)
- Custom Crane Design: Design and engineer Single Girder EOT, Double Girder EOT, Gantry, Jib, and Underslung cranes as per client specifications and duty classes (M3 to M8).
- Hoist & Winch Systems: Optimize designs for Electric Wire Rope Hoists, Chain Hoists, Flame Proof Hoists, and Electrical Winches.
- Standards Compliance: Ensure all mechanical and structural designs strictly adhere to relevant standards such as IS 3177, IS 807, IS 3938, and FEM guidelines.
- Detailed Drawings: Generate 2D fabrication drawings, GA (General Arrangement) drawings, 3D models, and Bill of Materials (BOM) using CAD Softwares.
- Engineering Calculations: Perform rigorous structural calculations for box-type and I-beam crane girders, end carriages, crab structures, wheel loads, and hoist mechanisms.
