About The Team
Search & Discovery at Tata CLiQ owns how customers find products across the platform — search relevance, ranking, autosuggest, and discovery experiences across Fashion and Luxury. The team blends product thinking with data-driven experimentation to continuously improve search health and conversion.

About The Role
We're looking for a Product Intern to support Search Operations — helping monitor search health, contribute to reranking signal analysis, and assist in running A/B tests that directly impact how millions of customers discover products. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants real exposure to how a large-scale e-commerce search engine is measured, tuned, and improved.

What You'll Do
- Monitor daily/weekly search health metrics (zero-result rates, CTR, conversion, query coverage) and flag anomalies
- Support analysis of reranking signals — GMV, CTR, CVR,



and manual boosting inputs — to identify improvement opportunities
- Assist in designing, launching, and tracking A/B tests for search and ranking changes; help synthesize results into clear recommendations
- Build and maintain dashboards/reports for search performance, in collaboration with data/analytics teams
- Conduct query and taxonomy analysis — identifying gaps in catalog attribution, filters, and search-to-PLP mapping
- Partner with engineering to translate search issues (e.g., relevance gaps, latency, ranking bugs) into transparent, prioritized product inputs
- Document findings and present insights to the Search & Discovery product team

What We're Looking For
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Statistics, Business, or a related quantitative field
- Strong analytical skills; comfort with Excel/Sheets and basic SQL (or willingness to learn quickly)
- Interest in e-comm
